Kodak Charmera: Is It Worth It?

The quick verdict
The KODAK Charmera earns B tier from me. I enjoyed its tiny size, design, and rough photos, but the price needs to stay close to the roughly $30 to $35 range discussed in my test.
I would not pay an inflated resale price. This is a small novelty camera, and its 1.6MP output will not replace a phone for clean detail.

The appeal is carrying it
The Charmera is small enough to stay on keys, clip to a bag, or disappear into a pocket. I liked having a camera I could bring without thinking about space.

Decide from the sample photos
The image output is 1440 × 1080, about 1.6MP. I enjoyed the rough appearance, but there is little detail for cropping. I would judge it from the examples rather than expect a small version of a modern compact.
The manufacturer’s Charmera quick start guide lists photo and video recording, USB-C, and compatible microSD storage. A memory card is not included in the standard package, so check the seller’s bundle and include a suitable card in the total.
Why I would avoid resale prices
The design and Kodak branding are part of what I like, but they do not improve the sensor or files. My B tier rating assumes a modest novelty purchase.
If the asking price is far above the range in my test, I would wait or compare a cheaper camera. Limited stock alone would not persuade me to pay more.
Compare the complete package
Compare the KODAK Charmera single blind box listing. A single blind box does not guarantee a particular finish.
If the price is too high, compare a cheaper keychain camera. Check its sample files, charging port, and included card separately; generic models can differ.
My verdict
I would choose the Charmera when I wanted its design, tiny size, and particular photos at a reasonable price. At an inflated price, I would pass. B tier reflects how much I enjoyed it within those limits.
